Our IDAA service aims to support women who are at the highest risk of harm from a partner or ex-partner. IDAA’s support women who are experiencing domestic abuse to identify risk and provide safety planning advice in ways that suit individual need.
IDAA’s can work in partnership with other agencies to meet the needs of a woman and can provide specialist advocacy when women require their voice to be heard. The IDAA is the voice for the woman at the MARAC Meetings, expressing the woman’s views and opinions and needs.
MDWA is a grassroots, community-driven support charity and network for women and children at risk of domestic abuse.
MDWA is affiliated with Scottish Women’s Aid.
