What services do we
provide to help you?

Refuge Accommodation

We currently have 11 refuge spaces for women and children throughout the Motherwell & District area. We provide two types of accommodation: Women are allocated a support worker who will support them with all of their practical and emotional needs throughout their journey in refuge.

Outreach Support

Outreach support is delivered throughout our local community, support can be provided by telephone, online or face to face. This support is available to women who do not want or need to access refuge accommodation.

Groupwork

We offer a range of groupwork programmes which can help with recovering from trauma, building confidence and providing practical and emotional tools around recovery.

Follow on Support

Follow on support is offered to women when they are rehoused after having lived in our refuge accommodation. This can take the form of practical and emotional support. The aim of follow-on support is to make the transition from refuge to a woman’s new home as smooth as possible.

Independent Domestic Abuse Advocacy

Our IDAA service aims to support women who are at the highest risk of harm from a partner or ex-partner. IDAA’s support women who are experiencing domestic abuse to identify risk and provide safety planning advice in ways that suit individual need.

CYP Service

We offer support to children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse in the home and in their own relationships. We support all age groups of children; the support includes one to one support and group programmes.
